Scott
Rappoport
CEO

Scott Rappoport CLU, ChFC, RHU, CEBS, Chief
Executive Officer of Benefit Sources & Solutions has
been working with employers and individuals since 1984 to
meet their employee benefit and financial needs.
Scott
earned a bachelors degree in Economics and Finance at Rutgers
College in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and attended professional
education programs at the American College and Northeastern
University. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), a
Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and a Registered
Health Underwriter (RHU).
In 1997,
Scott earned the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist
(CEBS) degree from the Wharton School of Business of Pennsylvania.
This distinguishes him within a very small community of
Certified Employee Benefit Specialists working as private
practitioners. It is this unique commitment to technical
expertise and exceptional service that ensures a high level
of satisfaction among Benefit Sources & Solutions clients.
A prominent
speaker and writer, Scott is a regular lecturer on Employee
Benefits and Financial Services for various business and
professional groups, including licensed insurance agents.
Scott has appeared on a variety of television shows such
as CNBC, The Money Club, News Center 4, The Today Show and
Live at 5. Scott's commitment to the business community
was recognized when the Somerset County Chamber of Commerce
named him Outstanding Business Person of the Year in 1995.
Active
in professional and civic organizations, Scott is on the
Board of Directors of the Somerset County Business Partnership.
He has served on the board of trustees of Temple Sholom
in Bridgewater and has served as an Officer or Director
of the National Association of Health Underwriters, the
National Association of Life Underwriters, the National
Association of CLU, ChFC and Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.
Currently, Scott spends much of his free time coaching youth
sports.
Scott
is an Eagle Scout and continues to support the Boy Scouts
of America. A Philadelphia native, he lives in Warren Township,
New Jersey with his children Jason, Jackie and Jared.

Howard
Stolzer
Executive
Vice President

|
Howard Stolzer, CEBS, Executive Vice President, has been
a business owner, consultant, and group benefits professional
for several years and a licensed insurance agent since 1986.
Howard’s background includes a Certified Employee Benefit
Specialist Designation (CEBS) from a joint program of the
International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the
Wharton School of Business.
He also holds a Masters of Business Administration degree
in General Management from the Crummer Graduate School of
Business at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, and
was graduated from Boston's prestigious Berklee College
of Music, where he earned a Bachelor of Music degree in
Audio Engineering and Music Production.
As Vice President of Benefit Sources & Solutions, Howard
manages portfolio operations of the firm’s registered investment
advisory area. He is actively involved in portfolio strategy,
daily operations and trading, and serves as Chief Compliance
Officer for the firm.
His other responsibilities include analyzing benefit programs
for new and existing clients and drafting and writing proposals.
An expert in business technology and management, Howard
has designed and implemented the Benefit Sources and Solutions
computer network and information systems. He is also an
experienced financial modeler and software developer.
Howard's background also includes stage and production
experience with The Count Basie Band, Al Jarreau, The Spinners,
and other well known artists.
Howard lives in Basking Ridge with his wife Donna and son
Ean. |

Stephan
M. Stenger
Vice
President

|
Stephan M. Stenger, Vice President, Benefit Sources &
Solutions, has been in the insurance industry for over 20
years, helping to meet the diverse needs of the public sector,
private companies and individuals.
Prior to joining Benefit Sources & Solutions, Stephan
was Assistant Vice President, Commerce National Insurance
Services, where he served as manager of the company’s Northern
New Jersey group insurance sales office in Randolph. As
a broker and manager for group accounts with up to 2,000
employees, he consulted on benefit strategies and was responsible
for the design, implementation and administration of insurance
products. Stephan’s primary focus is the coordination of
benefits programs within a total compensation package, considering
the employer’s needs, goals and objectives. Stephan’s approach
to client relationships can best be described as superior
service combined with technical expertise and professionalism.
Prior to his tenure with Commerce, Stephan was a top-producing
Sales Representative for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield
of New Jersey and a Liberty Lamplighter Award winner for
Liberty Mutual Insurance.
A graduate of the College of Misericordia in Dallas, PA,
where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration, Stephan
is currently pursuing the Registered Health Underwriter
(R.H.U.) designation from the American College. He is a
member of the National Association of Health Underwriters
and has served on various insurance agency councils and
associations. Stephan is a licensed producer for life, health,
property and casualty insurance.
Stephan is a volunteer with the Long Valley Little League,
where he serves as a coach and umpire coordinator for baseball,
basketball and soccer. He is an active member at St. Mark’s
Church of Long Valley, where he also volunteers for various
activities.
Stephan resides in Long Valley with his wife Cathy and
three children, Eric, Kurt and Holly. |

Raj Gupta
Director of Business Development

Raj Gupta, CLTC, is a seasoned insurance specialist with
17 years of experience in the financial and insurance marketplace.
He has held sales, advisory and training positions with
Genworth Financial, LTC Incorporated and Merrill Lynch &
Co., Inc. For the past two years, he has consulted with
and advised financial and insurance professionals from some
of America’s largest and most respected investment firms,
including Smith Barney, Edward Jones, Morgan Stanley, A.G.
Edwards and Bank of America, on all facets of long-term
care planning and related health benefit programs. This
background is a tremendous asset in providing Benefit Sources
& Solutions clients with a high level of service in
managing their individualized benefit plans.
Mr. Gupta is a licensed life and health insurance agent
in New Jersey and New York. He holds a bachelor’s degree
in business and a minor in marketing from the University
of Massachusetts, Amherst. Raj and his wife live in Ringwood
with their two children.;

Valerie
Veith
Office
Manager

Valerie Veith joined Benefit Sources & Solutions
nearly 10 years ago, following a 5-year career in the financial
services industry. She rapidly advanced to the position
of office manager here as a result of her ability to provide
exceptional client service. She is responsible for managing
the day to day activities of Benefit Sources & Solutions.
Her responsibilities include office and client service management,
proposal analysis, vendor relations and accounts receivables.
Valerie earned her Associates Degree from Middlesex County
College. She resides in Middlesex with her two dogs, and
enjoys volunteering and traveling. |

Carol
Lelo
Account
Manager

With over 20 years in the insurance industry, Carol joined
Benefit Sources & Solutions as an Account Manager at
its inception in January, 1997. Previously, she worked as
a sales and service associate for a top-rated insurance
company.
Carol attended Clarion University in Western Pennsylvania
and continues to complete continuing education courses in
her field.
Carol and her husband, Brian, reside Lake Placid, NY, where
she is active in community organizations including Friends
of Animals and the Lake Placid Center for the Arts. She
enjoys skiing, hiking and bicycling.

Kate Kenyon

Manager

Kate Kenyon joined Benefit Sources & Solutions with an in
depth knowledge of employee benefit plans. With the majority of her experience being from a General Agency, she brings to us a new perspective and has become an asset to the department. She offers reliable, consistent customer service involving enrollments and claims assistance, assessment of benefit and carrier options, proposal requests and presentations.
Kate lives in Plainsboro, NJ with her two cats and enjoys reading, running and yoga.

Eliza Davino
Director
of Qualified Plans

Eliza Davino has extensive experience in the Defined
Contribution Retirement Plan industry. She works on all
aspects of retirement plan design, regulatory and consulting
issues. She specializes in using plan design to maximize the
benefits of retirement plans to meet the diverse goals and
objectives of her client accounts. Eliza’s strong commitment
to providing outstanding client service is evident in her day
to day activities.
Prior to joining Benefit Sources & Solutions, Eliza worked in
the Compliance Department at Merrill Lynch. She also worked for a TPA providing full Plan
Administration servicing small to mid-size retirement plans.
Eliza has completed her certificate program for the Retirement
Plan Fundamentals for American Society of Pension
Professionals & Actuaries and is currently working towards her
Qualified 401(k) Administrator designation.
Eliza holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University in
New Brunswick, NJ. She resides in Monroe, NJ
with her fiancée and two dogs.

Doug Belden

Douglas C. Belden, Employee Benefit Advisor, has spent over 25 years in the employee benefits business with industry leaders such as UNUM, Liberty Mutual and MetLife. He excels in cultivating relationships and strives to understand the unique needs of each organization he serves. This approach has allowed Doug to gain experience in delivering customized solutions to employee benefits with organizations of all types, from small privately held businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to joining BS&S in 2009, Doug built a client base within a northern New Jersey agency which focused on benefits risk management, HR solutions and expertise in Consumer Directed Health Plans (CDHP). Cost control through education, communication, access and responsiveness are the cornerstones of his commitment for delivering value for his clients and their employees.
Doug is active in the Society for Human Resource Managers (SHRM), has provided continuing education for HR professionals on CDHP at PACE University in NYC. He serves his community as a member of the Insurance Review Committee for the Township of Cranford.
Doug earned a B.A. in economics from Bowdoin College in Maine.
Originally from Connecticut, Doug has resided in Cranford, NJ with his wife Betsy since 1984. They have three children, Laura, Tom and Sarah.

Barbara Marsicano

Barbara Marsicano joined Benefit Sources & Solutions following a 20 year career with AT&T as an Administrative Assistant. Barbara coordinates many of our client communication initiatives and assists our sales team with client tracking and preparation of proposals. Her responsibilities also include handling the phones, greeting clients and ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently.
Barbara earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Phoenix in Human Resources. She resides in Manville with her daughter, Alina.
